RACE & COURSE INFO
Sign up for the distance of your choice at the ninth annual Boulder Distance Carnival. All participants will receive a cool Brooks technical running shirt (men's and women's sizing is available) as part of your entry fee! Organized by the folks at the Boulder Running Company, the races are a benefit for the Orphans of AIDS Trust Foundation in South Africa and the City of Boulder Parks & Recreation EXPAND Program.

The Boulder Distance Carnival is held at the Boulder Reservoir, with great views of the Flatirons and Front Range mountains. Participants have the choice in taking part in either the 5 Kilometer or 15 Kilometer running races, as well as a non-competitive 1 Kilometer run/walk. All courses are on soft-packed dirt trails around the Reservoir and on rural roads.

Volunteers from the EXPAND program will provide support at aid stations along the course, supplied with Eldorado Natural Spring Water, Gatorade and energy gels. The races are professionally timed by Amie & Benji Durden and their staff.

PRIZES AND AWARDS
Cash prizes will be awarded to first place finishers, male & female, in the races as follows:

15K Race: $300
5K Race: $150
Age group winners in the 5K and 15K races (male and female) will be awarded gift certificates to the Boulder Running Company.

RAFFLE
In an effort to raise additional funds for OATF and EXPAND, the Boulder Running Company will sell raffle tickets ($2 each or 6 for $10) for specific items, including backpacks, bags, running shoes, clothing and much more! Purchase as many raffle tickets as you wish! Winners will be announced and prizes given away following awards at the event.
